HTML5 on iPad is even worse. Its almost not usable. I havent found any html5 app that works on Apple’s iPad. And when it comes to iPhone, it cant even handle simple javascript effects! Honestly, i have no clue why Adobe is trying so hard to push Flash to the 0.99$ crowd. Let the iPhone-iPad users live with the 99 cent apps. Everyone flock into real computers if they want a RICH experience.

Even more so, i don’t understand what makes people purchase ipad for the price of a notebook

@goddude, .99 crowd are mostly single developer or small team, potentially customers for Adobe’s design/developer tools.
@jloa, what I can understand, some people prefer expensive cars even cheaper ones better.

@George yeap, i totally agree with that, but do you feel like iPhone/iPad is a an exclusive expensive car? Expensive – probably, but not exclusive. And actually the price is not justified. It works slower than analogues, it doesn’t have multitasking and finally i haven’t seen anyone that love the iTunes. The only exclusive thing about it is the design. Comparison of the iphone with competitors is senseless imho.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
